2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website. The handling of business data inside DataStori pipelines is governed separately by the customer's master service agreement and runs entirely within the customer's own cloud environment — DataStori never receives or stores that data.

Information you provide
- Contact information when you book a demo, email us, or sign up for an account (name, email, phone, company)
- Account credentials when you create a DataStori account
- Any other information you choose to send us
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: We use Segment to collect anonymised page-view, event, and referrer data. This includes IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the URL that referred you to us.
- Cookies and consent: We use Cookiebot to manage cookie consent. You can change your preferences at any time using the cookie banner.

- To respond to your enquiries and provide demos
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website
- To send service updates and (where permitted) marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time

We do not sell personal information.

Some of our processors are located outside your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

DataStori is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant. Account credentials and API tokens are encrypted at rest. For details on our security posture, see our Trust page.
12. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly.
